About Our Congregation

Our Pastor

Rev. Maria Elena Cruz de Montalvo dedicates her life to serving the word of God by helping those in need. She has aided support to many immigrants and hopes to continue to help them through her time serving the congregation.

Brothers & Sisters

We are a group of brothers and sisters who form the body of Christ. United to help all people despite their orientation, gender, or race. We believe we are Lutherans in action, being the hands and feet of Christ to bring the good news of the

Gospel.

Our involvement

Currently, we provide shelter to Mauritanians, and with the help of other congregation's support and the organization "CLUE" we can provide them with other opportunities and resources.

We're made right with God not by what we earn, but by His grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible is God's Word. Scripture is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for what we believe and how we live. Love God, love your neighbor. We're called to love God with all we are, and to love our neighbors as ourselves — across every background and border.

We gather every Sunday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Come a few minutes early to find a seat and say hello.

I've never been to church before — what should I expect?

A warm welcome and no pressure. Services last about an hour and include singing, prayer, and a message from the Bible. Come as you are — there's no dress code, and you don't need to know anything beforehand.
